I was going to wait to put this out there, but you all are my confidants and I think I can share with you. I have been doing Weight Watchers. I started June 7 and since then have lost 10.2 pounds. I have steadily been losing an average of 1.5 pounds per week. Today I weighed in and had gained .2 pounds. I'll be honest, I was devastated. I know it isn't even a half pound, but I see it as a gain, even if it was a small one. I know that it is likely that all the working out I did this week contributed to that. I know the old saying, "Muscle weighs more than fat." It is still a tough pill to swallow when you are wanting to see the scale say otherwise. The ladies at the meeting, and Tabitha were amazing. I love them all! After the meeting, Tab and I went to the gym and I did 3 miles on the treadmill in 53 minutes and burned 360 calories.
On that note, all I can do, from here, is go forward. More to come, from "Going for it!"
You're awesome, Kelli! Seriously, gains are normal....from water weight, or like you said, muscle gain. Try not to get frustrated.....you're doing so great and I'm incredibly proud of you!
